    1 we stayed in Picton for the night before the hike and in Richmond, close to Nelson, after the Looking back, I’d probably spend the night before the hike as close as possible to Tasman, to get as much time as possible in the 2 well, there’s obviously a tradeoff here and that’s not even considering a route along the East Coast I really enjoyed the glaciers, driving along the coast and then the drive to Queenstown; beautiful scenery all These being said, I wouldn’t say anything of the above was absolutely I did consider your route and that’s also supposed to be And I obviously missed not getting to Milford Sound and to Mt Cook especially since the latter is supposed to have some of the darkest and light pollution free skies on the planet, for stargazing and astrophotography
